    There's God's time, then Church time, then our time, which is the same as microwave time. If he is meant to be a saint, he will be eventually. It would be thrilling if it happened in your lifetime I know. Sometimes all we can do is plant a seed and water it. We may or may not see it when it's full grown. Maybe future generations will see the seed grow into a mighty oak tree.
