Hi! I'm Teresa. :-) Wife to Nate and Mom to Abby (3). We've just started introducing celebrating Catholic holidays/feasts/saint days and I'm always interested in seeing how other people "live our" their faith. Can't wait to read more about your family!
Hi Bonnie. I'm Jennifer of Little Silly Goose. I only discovered the awesomeness of the Catholic blog world less than a year ago, but I fell in love immediately. I am a mother of two boys: Parker (3) and Austin (10 months). As I mentioned in a previous comment, I found your site through Haley's post about the Sneezing Awards (how wonderful of you to put this together to honor the hard work and incredible talent of the awesome Catholic bloggers) and loved the miraculous story of your son's birth. I'm glad to have found yours (as well as several other) great blogs to add to my Feedly. Keep doing your thing!
Oh, hi! Bonnie, my name is Chalayn. Well.... I've been sitting here for a couple of minutes trying to figure out what else to type and.... I've got nothin'. But since you promised exciting things to come on here, I'm going to promise exciting future comments from me! Yay!
Hello! I'm Joanne and a Knotted Life newbie . My husband is a deacon and we have 3 wild and crazy girls - almost 4, 2 and 3 months. I blog over at Our ABC Life and I don't v-log but I've also never tried.
Hi! I'm Laura - it's nice to meet you. I am also passionately Catholic (can we make that a new phrase to replace the stuffy "devout Catholic"?) and am currently trying to find my calling in life. I look forward to reading/watching more from you! Have a great day!
Well, I'm not a new reader, but I am a new blogger, so I have justified myself enough to finally comment! I love your blog and I'm pumped for all the new things to come, but mainly I hope there is more of what happened at the end of that video! - Emilia
Hi Bonnie! I am Shelley. I am from Canada. I found your blog last year through the sheenazing awards and Martin Family Moments. I have am a catholic momma of 3 under 4. I love your honesty about NFP and all the information you have provided on celebrating the liturgical year. -Shelley
I'm new and a new follower. Among my other goals for the year ahead -- read more, cook more, blog more -- I'd like to be in the running for the non-Papist category of bloggers. A blogger's got to dream!
This is so nice of you! Such a treat to hear your voice :) I'm Sarah and, though I think I'd visited your blog before and remember the Sheenazing Awards from last year, I only started following this year. I blog at Footprints on My Heart and recently began a Saint Series there, comprised mostly of guest posts! I'd love to hear from you and anyone interested in more information about how to contribute.
God bless!

I have been following for a little while but am fairly new here. I'm a Baptist married to a Catholic who found the Catholic blogging world through Camp Patton when I was looking for blogs of medical wives because my husband is a med student. I've been blogging for a few years, mostly for my own enjoyment. I'm in RCIA right now, so I may join the passionately Catholic world eventually but first I have to figure out how to talk to me parents about it. One step at a time I guess.
My husband and I are "team leaders" for RCIA at our church. He is an agnostic turned Christian turned Catholic and I myself was born Catholic, but didn't really start my journey of faith until a few years ago.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me! We've both been there and have enjoyed so much working with others who are deciding to make the transition to the Catholic faith or not.
I'm new here too! A couple of the blogs I follow were nominated and lead me to your blog (and a few others). The Sheenazing Awards were awesome thank you so much for organizing it. I look forward to next year's.
Hello, Bonnie! I heard about your son's Sheenazing story years ago but didn't know that his mom had this great blog. Thanks to the awards, I found you! I just started blogging last September (http://through-a-glass-brightly.blogspot.com/) and I've enjoyed it immensely. Thanks to the support of some wonderful ladies (looking at you, Ana, Haley, and Kendra!), "Through a Glass Brightly" was nominated for "Most Under Appreciated Blog" and "Smartest Blog." I'm very grateful for all of the new traffic, thoughtful comments, and terrific blogs that I found!
Gosh, you are just as full of joy on camera as I imagine in your writing on here!
Hi! I'm Kayla! I just started blogging this year after realizing there was a Catholic blogosphere (where the heck have I been?!) and wanting to be a part of such a great community :) I found your blog through Camp Patton a few weeks ago and just love it!
Hi Bonnie! Ive been following you since I met you the night James was born! You are just so lovely and I love learning about the Catholic Church! (I grew up AC!)
Hello! I'm Emily and I blog over at Raising Barnes. I've been following you for a few months now. Happy to have "met" you in your vlog. Love your writing and all you do :)
Gosh! What a warm welcome for us newbies. Loved it! I must say, after seeing this, I'm thinking you are the woman that I want to buy the vacant house down the street from us.
I've enjoyed your blog for a while now, but don't think I've ever commented. I was glad to see your vlog for one reason in particular. Here, I've been calling them Sheenazing with a short "a" sound, not a long "a" sound. Now I feel silly.
Hi Bonnie, Thank you for the warm welcome :) I loved the video and am looking forward to visiting you here. I had a great time participating in the Sheenazing Blogger Awards! Thank you for hosting them!
Patty's comment cracked me up! After watching this video I'm thinking we are all wishing that you were the woman buying the vacant house down the street!
Hi, I'm Ashley. I'm a cradle Catholic who is just figuring out how to live my Faith more fully. I've been married for 4.5 years and I'm also a new momma. I'm doing my best to learn more about being Catholic and living it in my day to day life. I love to see how others live liturgically, because I have no idea where to start. :)
Awhile ago you had asked for coconut flour recipes...and I have one for you. First, let me say that I've tried recreating lots of different sweets using coconut flour, and they only thing I've ever made that is even close to the yummy, gluten-packed original is banana bread. Everything else is just a sad imitation that makes me long for the original. I've tried a number of banana bread recipes, and this one is pretty good: http://www.mygutsy.com/coconut-flour-banana-bread/ Personally, I omit the sweeteners. And sometimes I use 3 (regular!) eggs.
Hi there, I am relatively new and I haven't really ever commented. I love reading your thoughts about motherhood and living your faith. I am not actually Catholic (I am a Mormon) but you are sharing your faith beautifully. Really, my whole understanding of the church has changed. Anyway, thanks for blogging!
Liz, I'm so glad you feel welcome here! Thanks for saying hi, and if you ever have any questions about why Catholics believe or do what we do please let me know. Either privately or publicly - I'd love to explain things since we can seem kinda weird at times. :)
I'm not new here, but it must be said: You are adorable. :) More vlogs!! More, more!
ReplyDeleteI second that emotion!
DeleteHaha! You two are both kind. Annnnnd, okay. More vlogs.

DeleteI'm Christie!!! Vlogging, huh? I like it!
ReplyDeleteAnd your playlist down there has become an integral part to my 2014 soundtrack. That is a Big Deal. Just so you know.
Ah Christie, you made my day by telling me you like my music! Thank you!
