Five Favorites

#1 International Delight Caramel Macchiato creamer in my morning coffee.

#2 The article Hearts of Flesh by Steve Gershom.  I am so grateful for Steve's online presence as a man with same-sex  attraction who is also faithful to the Church.  I especially love this part of the essay:
I know I’m supposed to be frustrated with the Church for not letting me get married to another man, but I don’t feel that way. I might as well be frustrated with the Church for not allowing me to get pregnant. She couldn’t if she tried, because she doesn’t have the authority. The Church has the power to teach the truth, but not to create it.

#3 This show:
And especially Connie Britton's character in it.  I love me some Connie Britton.
And have you noticed her eye make-up in the show?  Love it!

#4  Bright Eyes' cover of the song Devil Town.

#5 Give aways!  Like the one I'll be announcing later this week at ye olde blog.  So stay tuned!

    3. I wanted to watch this when it started but then I didn't. I think because I thought Steve wouldn't like it much. But now after all these raving reviews I'm gonna get on Hulu and start!

  2. Oh, yes! I am such a fan of Nashville. Isn't Connie Britton the cutest?

And Steve Gershom, well, I kind of love the guy. What an awesome witness. :)

  3. Ohhh, can I just say that I want that creamer in my coffee right now? I gave up sweets for Lent and for the first time ever am able to drink my coffee with just cream. I don't know why it was easier to do this time, I always thought I needed it sweet. But just seeing that creamer is making me wish it was Easter!

  4. Haha..yea I was wondering what show too because the picture isn't showing up. I was like "American Horror Story??? No, Bonnie can't be watching that show!" ..BTW don't watch that show. It is getting awful...and not in a scary kind of way..just a dumb plot kind of way.

    1. Weird the picture's not showing up for everyone. Hmmm.

And don't worry - I would NEVER watch a show called American Horror Story.

  8. I got a variety pack of coffees for my Keurig maker as gifts. I would not be able to get to the bottom of some of those bolder kinds without my Nestle's sugar free italian sweet cream creamer.

  15. That is such a wonderful quote. I wish more people with "issues" of this nature would talk about it. I think it would go a long way toward making the Church's position more understandable. And livable.

We don't watch TV or I would so do Nashville. I've heard it's great. We catch Downton Abbey on DVD.

  16. Ahh, I'm addicted to Nashville too! And no joke, everytime I watch it I always note her eye makeup - so pretty! Maybe there is a tutorial somewhere online. Okay, off to Google Search! If I find one I'll def. share! :o)
