Also, please remember that if you are in within driving distance of Peoria, IL there is an upcoming event for women who have lost a child through miscarriage or infancy loss. A Mother's Love is a one day healing retreat held at St. Philomena's in Peoria. It is free of charge, lunch is provided, registration is suggested by not required, and it is open to women of any faith (though the content is Catholic).

Please pray for my cousin who lost her 2 1/2 month old son 2 years ago while at the babysitters. I feel as though God had a plan for this child (he saved his parents marriage) and I trust in his plan. However it is not always easy when we are suffering to see things in that light. My cousin is still struggling deeply with this loss. Please pray for her to somehow come to trust in His plan and find peace with it.

ReplyDeletePlease pray for my friend who just lost her four month old daughter. Also, please pray for me as I just found out I will soon miscarry. It is very difficult to wait for something like that to happen. Bless you for praying for all of us and being a support to all those who are struggling.
ReplyDeleteI would like you to pray for a friend of mine who is suffering with infertility. It is a very difficult cross to bear. (Interestingly enough, she JUST called me as I was typing this. We don't talk on the phone very often so that is exceptionally coincidental.) Anyway, prayers would be much appreciated! We should all use the opportunity to pray to St. Gerard tomorrow since it is his feast day! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWe've lost two babies from miscarriage this year at 10 weeks each. Another woman I know just suffered a miscarriage after trying for 6 years to get pregnant.

ReplyDeletePleas pray for me, C, to have healing to be able to conceive and carry a child to full term. (to date we have never conceived.) My husband and I have been trying for 3+ years to have a child. But we keep having to reset the clock with each surgery I have... it is currently 7 months since my last surgery. (My heart still says 3+ years.)

Thank you in advance for your prayers =) I could use them for myself and my husband. We've been trying to have a baby for over a year now and it's quite discouraging. Also for friends who are known to God. This is a beautiful work of mercy that you're doing.
