just a little something for today

It's raining here.  I wish it was snowing.  But I'll just listen to She & Him sing The Christmas Waltz, drink myself a chai hot chocolate, turn off all the lights but those on the Christmas tree and pretend.

I love The Christmas Waltz.  My mom has an old record of Christmas music and I think Dusty Springfield sings the song on it.  I think the reason I'm so partial to this version of the song is because, not only does it look like an old LP, but it sounds like one too.  And I mean that in the absolute best way.
