a prayer for Megan C.

A friend has asked me to post a prayer request for her niece, Megan C.

About a week ago Megan was driving through Kentucky with a friend when a truck drove straight into them.  Megan was the only one to survive, though the coroner originally thought she was dead.  The coroner said it was one of the worst crashes he'd ever seen in all his years of doing the job and was amazed that someone survived.

However, Megan was crushed and is in really bad shape.  She is back in Illinois now and her mom, Mary, and family are praying for her healing.  Please join us in lifting Megan and her family up in prayer.

They are also asking Archbishop Sheen's intercession.  The prayer is below:

Eternal Father, You alone grant us every blessing in Heaven and on earth, through the redemptive mission of Your Divine Son, Jesus Christ, and by the working of the Holy Spirit.

If it be according to Your Will, glorify Your servant, Fulton J. Sheen, by granting the favor I now request through his prayerful intercession - that Megan's body heals and functions normally and that she is spared any brain damage. I make this prayer confidently through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
