for Pete's sake

In honor of my first child, Peter Mark, who we lost to miscarriage, I would love to pray for your intentions that are related to infertility or the loss of a child.

Please leave your prayer intention - for yourself or someone you know - in the comment box. Commenters may leave their name or be anonymous. You may share as little or as much as you like. With great respect, dignity, and affection I would like to pray for you, your pain, your grief, and your hope.

I, of course, invite all those who comment or read the comments to join me in praying for one another.

Thank you for this privilege.

  9. Please pray for RG and CK as we get closer to our wedding date in September. I'm so excited but also so nervous about being a wife. Pray that we both grow closer to Christ, but especially my fiance, who wants to start RCIA to be confirmed. Thank you so much.

  10. This re-post couldn't have come at a better time... Please pray for a very special former student of mine, C, and her husband, R, as they mourn the sudden loss of their 3-year old daughter, O. O was born with congenital CMV but living a very prosperous life. This is especially awful as R is due to be deployed overseas in a few months. Thanks so much.

  12. What a totally selfless and sweet thing to do - to offer your prayers for us.

Please pray for us as we are pregnant with our 5th child after suffering 4 miscarraiges over the past 2 years. I am currently 12 weeks pregnant now, but everyday still feel anxious and nervous at times.

    God bless you!!

  13. Please pray for me (S)...I followed to your link off of another little boy that I am praying for. I have been trying (without luck) for 10 years and still nothing. We know that we have some infertility problems, but nothing major, and the doctor's are not sure exactly what is going on. You are such a non-selfish person, and I in return am praying for your family.

    Thank you

  14. We just got a postive pregnancy test, but then I started spotting that same evening (yesterday). Had a blood test today and started progesterone. Really trying to have faith with this one. Thanks for the prayers! We'll be praying for everyone else's intentions too!

  17. Thank you for giving me your prayer requests. It is such a blessing for me to pray for you.

I do want to be clear that I am 100% in agreement with the Catholic Church's teachings on sex and procreation: that the two should never be seperated.

I always pray that bodies may be healed (if needed) and that couples will be blessed with the gift of a child. And I pray that the blessing comes in a way that glorifies God, not science.

I hope I do not sound harsh, but I feel that clarity is needed so scandal is avoided.

    God bless you all!
